The Belden Club and Rebuilding Together San Francisco
Host: Belden Club/CREW
Location: William Penn Hotel, 160 Eddy St. at Taylor
When: Saturday, April 26, 8:00AM
Please join the Belden Club and CREW on Saturday, April 26, from 8:00AM until 4:00 PM at the William Penn Hotel located at 160 Eddy St. at Taylor for this year's Rebuilding Together San Francisco event. Each year, the Belden Club joins RTSF in a charitable endeavor to make improvements to the homes, neighborhoods, schools and shelters of our city's seniors, low-income families and disabled residents. This year, we will be helping to refurbish the William Penn Hotel, an affordable housing development in the Tenderloin managed by Chinatown Community Development Center. Coffee, snacks and lunch will be provided for all participants. Also, in keeping with Belden tradition, after we finish working we will walk to a local watering hole to celebrate the day's accomplishments.
This year's project primarily involves painting the interior of the facility. As such, you don't need to have any construction experience in order to participate. You should also plan on wearing old clothes that you don't mind destroying. Rebuilding Together t-shirts will be provided to all participants.
As always, the success of this event will be determined by turnout on the day of the project. As such, please consider volunteering. However, please only volunteer if you really plan on attending this event. We will be using responses to this evite to plan the number of lunches to be provided and to ensure that we have a sufficient number of volunteers scheduled in order to complete the project.
Thanks to Carmel Partners, Grosvenor Property Limited - Grosvenor Suite, Alliance Residential, LJ Melody Capital Markets, Cox, Castle & Nicholson and Broadreach Capital Partners for generously agreeing to sponsor this event!
